Conventions
Captions and Keywords cannot contain italicised or special characters. Thus:
- Scientific names of organisms, normally italicised, are placed in round brackets, e.g. (Quercus robur).
- Mäori terms normally contain macrons (horizontal lines above relevant letters) to indicate long vowels. It is not possible to create macrons in this software environment, so instead double dots are used above relevant letters, e.g. Mäori.
